Why “No BS”?
It stands for our names, Brian and Shawn. But it also stands for exactly how we do business.
We're brothers, born and raised right here in Utah. We grew up in a family that believed in hard work, straight talk, and taking care of your neighbors. That's not a marketing line, it's how we were raised.
Between us we have renovated and resold more than 200 houses. Shawn has walked through more distressed properties than most agents will see in a career, which is why we can look at a place once and tell you what it is worth without sending an inspector back three times to change our minds.
We started No BS Homes because we saw too many people in our community struggling with properties they couldn't keep up with. Maybe they inherited a house they can't afford. Maybe they fell behind on taxes. Maybe life just threw them a curveball. Whatever the reason, they deserved better than a lowball offer from someone who doesn't care.
We would rather return a call properly than snatch it up and rush you, so if we miss you live, you will hear back the same day. And you will hear back from Brian or Shawn, not a rep reading a script who has to go ask someone before they can answer you. We lead this company. That means we can give you a real answer on the first call, and we will sit at your kitchen table to do it.
Sometimes we're the best last option. And we take that responsibility seriously.
Who Leads No BS Homes
We founded this company and we still run it, which means there is no rotating cast of “investors,” no handoff to a stranger halfway through, and nobody telling you they have to check upstairs. You deal with an owner from the first conversation to the closing table.
Brian Brinkerhoff
Brian leads marketing and technology for No BS Homes, and sits on every decision about how the company operates and which deals it takes on. The site you are reading is his. So is the commitment behind it: if you send us a message, it reaches a founder, not a queue.
Shawn Brinkerhoff
Shawn has flipped over 200 homes, and he leads the property side of the business. He calls you back, walks the house with you, explains how we arrived at our number, and stays on the file through closing. Because he has the authority to set the offer himself, what he tells you on the walkthrough is what holds.
